SAINT LAURENT

Together, Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé debuted Saint Laurent in Paris in 1961. The first couture house to launch “luxury prêt-à-porter,” its 1966 Rive Gauche collection embraced youth and freedom. At the time, it revolutionized fashion while disrupting the socio-cultural landscape.

In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent. Today, the brand’s collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear. Among Saint Laurent’s most coveted products is The LouLou bag, named after Yves Saint Laurent’s close friend and muse, LouLou de la Falaise. Featuring a quilted chevron design with a front flap closure, it epitomizes French girl chic.
